Peggy Hagerty Duffy, P.E., D. GE, is a graduate of the University of Louisville and has over 30 years experience in the fields of geotechnical engineering, environmental services, and construction materials testing. She has performed site investigations in a wide variety of geologic settings throughout the upper South and Midwest, and she has evaluated and treated hundreds of sinkholes. Hagerty Duffy also oversees all research, technical activities, and governmental relations for the International Association of Foundation Drilling (ADSC). She is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Academy of Geo-Professionals (AGP) of ASCE.
Dr. D. Joseph Hagerty, P.E., D. GE, PhD, taught geotechnical engineering at the University of Louisville for 40 years and has over 55 years experience in the field of geotechnical engineering. He graduated from the University of Louisville and obtained his PhD under Dr. Ralph Peck at the University of Illinois. He has served as an expert witness in hundreds of blasting cases, and he has overseen and executed pivotal research on riverbank erosion, including two complete assessments of the entire length of the Ohio River. Dr. Hagerty has experience in excavation bracing design and analysis and remediation of slope instability.
